lyrics
Verse 1
An image in ma mind
I'm feeling that desire
But if only they can see
I'm laughing all the time
But a tear drop, there she cries
And I wonder what she thinks
Oh please don't ask me why
I’m just tryna get by
but the thing is...
Chorus
I Don’t wanna go
I Don’t wanna stay
I Don’t wanna make things worse again
Now we can go back as friends
Or stay as enemies
But the thing God said to me
They aint going nowhere
They will be right here
A come-back enemy
Come back, come back, come back, come back
Verse 2
Perfect soldiers
If you could be the one to try to fix my face
But a crippled mirror
And I'm the one that tries to put it all in place
And if One cry,
One laugh,
And One lie to change everything
Chorus
I Don’t wanna go
I Don’t wanna stay
I Don’t wanna make things worse again
Now we can go back as friends
Or stay as enemies
But the thing God said to me
They aint going nowhere
They will be right here
A come-back enemy
Come back, come back, come back, come back
Bridge
And if One cry,
One laugh,
And One lie to change everything
And if One cry,
One laugh,
And One lie to change everything
Chorus
I Don’t wanna go
I Don’t wanna stay
I Don’t wanna make things worse again
Now we can go back as friends
Or stay as enemies
But the thing God said to me
They aint going nowhere
They will be right here
A come-back enemy
Come back, come back, come back, come back

Can't get enough of this album. Well balanced and powerful. The Oddisee remix of Diamonds is simply breathtaking (see other album) and the original is a great sound as well, but I love the atmosphere of Shine On - set by Ikarus at the beginning of the album, and carried out till the end. Thank you for this ! Daniel Anken
